The title Deora comes from the Irish word which means "tears".

The Deora Project was established in January 2003 to provide counselling to the people of the North Inner City area of Dublin who have suffered loss as a result of bereavement, suicide and/or addiction.

Speaking with a therapist can provide an opportunity to explore the strong feelings associated with addiction/bereavement/loss and the choices available to us - in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental environment.
