OASIS COUNSELLING CENTRE was established in 1996, to offer an "Oasis" to the North Inner City and provides counselling to individuals, couples, and groups facing issues of a personal or professional nature. We offer a safe and supportive place where difficulties can be discussed and worked through in confidence.
Referrals come from all over the city and country, but priority is given to local people and those from the local area, which is the north inner city of Dublin. Most of our counselling staff are accredited by the I.A.C.P or the I.A.H.I.P or are working toward accreditation. All our counsellors and therapists adhere to recognised codes of ethics with the highest professional standards and attend regular supervision. The professional team is supported by a voluntary Board of Management.
The underlying ethos of our work is an approach that is confidential, non-judgemental, secure and supportive.
